Al Bayat: Simplified application requirements for the “Musanada” Program, with two weeks remaining until the application deadline

Mr. Khalid Al Bayat, Deputy Chief Executive of Program Design and Delivery at the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), stated:
“We encourage businesses affected by the recent events to benefit from the Musanada Program, as only two weeks remain before the application deadline on 11th August 2026.

The program reflects Tamkeen’s commitment to supporting the continuity of Bahraini businesses and helping them overcome current challenges, enabling them to sustain their operations and continue growing.

In response to enquiries from entrepreneurs and businesses, we would like to clarify that individual establishments and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) operating within the eligible economic sectors are required to submit the business’s financial statements covering the past two years. Audited financial statements are not mandatory if they are unavailable. Applicants are also required to provide a 12-month bank statement to complete the application requirements.

We also reaffirm that the program is available to eligible micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises operating in the specified economic sectors, reflecting Tamkeen’s commitment to supporting the private sector, strengthening its resilience, and enabling continued growth, as a key partner in driving economic development and creating promising employment opportunities for Bahraini talent.

Eligible Economic Sectors and Activities under the Musanada Program for the Operational Expenses Support Track (Track 2) and Financing Profit Support (Track 3):

* Transportation and storage
* Manufacturing
* Tourism
* Accommodation and food service activities
* Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles
* Professional, scientific, and technical activities
* Administrative and support service activities
* Arts, entertainment and recreation: Entertainment and Recreation Centres
* Education: Kindergartens and nurseries
