Bahrain Red Crescent Society Concludes 2026 Summer Camp

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) concluded its 2026 Summer Camp following two weeks of practical learning and humanitarian activities at the Society’s headquarters in Manama. The closing ceremony was attended by participants’ parents, BRCS members and trainers.
Participants presented a range of humanitarian projects and awareness initiatives developed during the camp, demonstrating the knowledge and experience they had gained. Their presentations also reflected noticeable progress in communication, teamwork and their ability to translate ideas into practical initiatives that benefit the community.
During the ceremony, BRCS honored the participants and trainers in recognition of their commitment throughout the program. The Society also commended the contribution of its trainers and volunteers, whose guidance and expertise played an important role in creating an engaging learning experience and delivering the camp’s objectives.
BRCS described the camp as one of its flagship educational programs, noting its continued success in preparing responsible and socially aware participants for meaningful involvement in volunteer work and emergency response. Combining classroom instruction with practical and field-based activities, the program was delivered by an experienced team of BRCS members, trainers and volunteers.
The camp featured a diverse series of specialized workshops covering humanitarian leadership, life skills, disaster management, safe evacuation, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and fire safety. Participants also explored public speaking, artificial intelligence, mental well-being, healthy nutrition, recycling and the conservation of natural resources. Together, these sessions provided a well-rounded learning experience while encouraging initiative, collaboration and responsible citizenship.
BRCS expressed pride in the progress participants made, particularly in their practical skills and self-confidence. The Society reaffirmed its commitment to delivering purposeful programs that create lasting value and prepare the next generation to contribute positively to the community through humanitarian service and volunteerism. It also looks forward to welcoming new participants to its upcoming programs.
