Kooheji Holding Group announced the launch of the new edition of its summer training programme, “Aspire,” during the orientation session held on July 5, 2026, marking the start of an integrated training journey aimed at preparing and qualifying a select group of Bahraini university students, and enabling them to acquire the practical skills and experience needed to compete in the labour market and contribute to supporting the national economy.
This year’s programme witnessed exceptional and unprecedented demand, with all training seats filled within less than 24 hours of registration opening. Only 25 students were selected following a rigorous evaluation process, ensuring the attraction of the best young national talent.
This year, the Group further enhances the value of the programme through a distinctive initiative that gives the best trainees the opportunity to join Kooheji Holding Group and work within its teams after completing their university studies. This step confirms that the programme is not limited to summer training, but rather represents a genuine gateway to a promising professional future.
The “Aspire” programme stands out as a unique national model for developing and qualifying Bahraini human capital, as it brings together sector diversity, skill diversity, and practical experience within one programme, making it one of the strongest training programmes offered by the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The programme provides participants with an exceptional opportunity to gain direct practical experience across a wide range of vital sectors, including contracting and construction, real estate development, architecture, civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, interior design, project management, in addition to facilities management, hospitality and hotel management, customer service and customer experience, marketing and digital marketing, human resources, information technology and digital transformation, and logistics and supply chains.
This diversity provides participants with a comprehensive professional experience that enables them to explore different work environments and build a broad base of knowledge and skills, helping them make future career decisions with confidence and preparing them to compete across various economic sectors.
The programme is the first of its kind in Bahrain in terms of sector diversity, the range of skills covered, and the scope of practical experience offered within an integrated training framework, further enhancing the readiness of Bahraini youth to enter the labour market with high efficiency.
Running from July 5 to August 31, 2026, the programme provides participants with practical training within Kooheji Holding Group companies, under the supervision of a select group of leaders, experts, and specialists, with participation in real projects that allow them to apply their academic knowledge in practice.
On this occasion, Eng. Mohamed Al Kooheji, Group Chief Executive Officer of Kooheji Holding Group, stated: “We view the Aspire programme as a national investment before being a training programme, because true investment begins with people. Bahraini youth possess the competence and ambition needed to lead the future of the national economy.”
He further said: “What distinguishes Aspire is that it is not limited to one field. It provides participants with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience across multiple sectors, including real estate development, contracting, engineering, design, facilities management, hospitality, marketing, digital transformation, and other vital sectors. This diversity makes the programme the first of its kind in terms of the comprehensiveness of the training experience and the variety of skills acquired by trainees.”
Al Kooheji affirmed that the Group’s initiative stems from its national duty towards the people of Bahrain, stating: “We believe it is our national responsibility to contribute to raising the efficiency of Bahraini human capital and preparing national talent to enter the private sector with confidence and capability, so they may become a driving force for the economic growth and prosperity witnessed by our beloved Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.”
He added: “Embracing Bahraini youth, training them, qualifying them, and transferring practical experience to them is a national duty that we are proud of. Building the Bahraini individual is the foundation of building the national economy, and it is the most sustainable investment we can offer for Bahrain’s future.”
The Group CEO noted that granting the best trainees the opportunity to work within the Group after graduation represents an extension of this vision, stating: “We do not want training to be a temporary experience that ends with the summer. Rather, we aspire for it to be the beginning of a long professional journey within our institutions, and to contribute to graduating Bahraini cadres who possess experience, skill, and leadership.”
